The 18th ASEAN Food Conference (AFC) 2025 is organized by the Philippine Association of Food Technologists, Inc. (PAFT), the national organization representing food technologists in the Philippines. The PAFT Mindanao Chapter, the first regional chapter recognized by PAFT, serves as the local organizing committee, ensuring seamless coordination on the ground.

At the regional level, the Federation of Institutes of Food Science and Technology in ASEAN (FIFSTA), the official ASEAN body adhering to the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST), plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration across ASEAN. In partnership with IUFoST, the global organization representing food science and technology professionals, and with the support of ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innoation (COSTI) and its Sub-Committee on Food Science and Technology (SCFST), the conference aims to advance innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in the region’s food industry.
